What started with a few neighborhood runs and events in 2017, the Silver Lake Track Club bloomed in 2021 into one of Los Angeles’ premier recreational run clubs. The founding ‘team of 2’ has grown into a diverse group of athletes training together year-round from 5Ks to half & full marathons to triathlons. Our runners are everything from local business owners to writers and artists with one important thing in common — a dedication to giving back to our neighborhood and communities. We do that by hosting free training runs 3 times per week as well as organizing charity-based running events throughout the year.

First and foremost, we run with equality. We run with joy. We run without ego. We believe that what makes us runners is showing up. We meet you where you are: we believe that running a 10-minute mile is just as challenging and worth celebrating as qualifying for Boston. We run hard, but we rest harder. Our group runs are chiefly designed to support foundation-building. Our coach and captains guide workouts to become more specialized and tailored as shared race goals and race seasons arise. We welcome all runners regardless of pace or experience. Silver Lake Track Club membership has been and will always be FREE.

We believe in creating a safe and inclusive community for all athletes. Runners are encouraged to join SLTC regardless of age, gender, race, sexual orientation, gender identity, or immigration status. All members should help create a safe and welcoming environment. Discrimination or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated and those who do not comply will be asked to leave immediately and reported to the proper authorities when necessary.
